Supplies needed to make your own DIY fairy house planter:
o 5 Inch Terra Cotta Planter
o Mini Fairy Garden Door Walkway Set
o Flocked Moss Fairy Garden Stones
o Preserved Green Sheet Moss
o Mini Welcome to My Garden Sign
o Miniature Garden Tool Set
o Gorilla Glue or Dual Temp Glue Gun
Step One. First things first, let’s talk about supplies. ConsumerCrafts has a ton of miniature fairy garden supplies to choose from so the supply list above is really just suggestions in case you want to make a DIY fairy house pot that’s identical to mine. The only exception to the supply list is that I used smooth river rocks but I think the moss fairy garden stones would look awesome!
Step Two. Follow the instructions on the back of the Gorilla Glue to best attach all the embellishments.
Step Three. Once the door and all the rocks are securely attached to the terra cotta pot, begin gluing the moss into all the cracks and the crevices. I’m planning on using this pot indoors with an interior plastic shield so I just used hot glue. You’ll have to use a stronger glue if you’re planning on keeping it in a less stable environment or plan on watering your plants inside of the planter.
Step Four. Finish the DIY fairy house planter by adding the metal garden tools and mushrooms. I attached the “Home Sweet Home” sign to an upside down tool but you could also use a small twig if you’d like.

I only covered the front part of my planter but you could definitely cover the entire surface if you’d like. You could even add a mini outdoor bench or a garden trellis to the back! Seriously, your options are almost endless considering just how many fairy garden supplies there are.
