WHAT TO PLANT IN AUGUST
For many gardeners, planting in august can have a big advantage. Because most fruits, vegetables, and herbs have finished their growing season, or are about to, you’ll have more space and a lot of leftover soil and fertilizers. For some regions though, it may be a good idea to plant in pots or containers, especially if the weather can turn quickly. That way, pots and containers can be safely moved to a sheltered area indoors or a covered patio.
