Cypress
Description
Chamaecyparis is a sort of evergreen coniferous trees which belongs to the family of Cupressaceae. Though the homeland of the Cypress is North America and East Asia, now this plant in its decorative form can be met in other regions. Many grades are rather frost-resistant, hardy and easily transfer change. Since XX century, various forms of the Cypress perfectly decorate any gardens, and recently are grown up in container culture. Some even use the Cypress instead of a New Year tree. The trees growing in the nature can reach in height of 70 cm, and decorative forms – on average of 20-40 cm. The harmonous trunk of the Cypress is covered with scaly bark of brown or brown color. Branches are hanging or spread, their originality and characteristic is ability to mutate.
