Description
Sedum an ornamental grassy plant from the family of Crassulaceae. The homeland of the plant are China, Korea and Japan. The are more than 500 types of sedums among which both one-year, and perennial plants meet. Sedums differ in their appearance and sizes – it is possible to meet both undersized ground cover types, and tall semi-bushes. In general, practically all existing types of sedums – succulents. The sedum – very compact plant, in the form reminds a bush. Most often the sedum has reinforced roots and an upright stalk which height varies from 10 to 70 cm. Branches on a stalk aren't present, on its top part the inflorescence settles down. Each plant can have one or several stalks.
